Evidence Summaries

This section provides an accessible overview of the current evidence regarding psychological therapies and interventions that offer the best outcomes for a range of presentations and difficulties. The topics are arranged across four categories. The traditional focus of The Matrix has been on mental health difficulties, and this is where the primary focus will lie in the initial review. The topic summaries for mental health difficulties take a lifespan approach and follow the diagnostic categories set out in the ICD-11 (1). They represent some of the most common diagnoses presenting to services but are not exhaustive.*
